Cell phones distract kids in school and in the car. It is disrupting teachers when the ringtones are going off. Texting is a big addiction for teenagers and once they begin driving they can’t put the phone down. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, in the state of New York, troopers issued over 800 tickets for texting alone. From the facts, I believe that teenagers should turn their phones on vibrate and silent so they don’t disrupt any other students trying to learn. Also teenagers should put their phones down while driving to prevent tickets and accidents.
I think it is horrible when people text and drive. It's not just dangerous for them, it's also dangerous for us. All they need to do is pull over on the side of the road, or wait till they are done driving.
